West Africa 39;s regional bloc ECOWAS has deployed a fact-finding mission to Togo ahead of crucial legislative and regional elections scheduled for April 29th. The mission, approved by ECOWAS Commission President Omar Alieu Touray, will assess the pre-election environment and compliance with Community texts on democracy and good governance.
