Modern Ghana - I will foster a strong partnership between gov’t and media to protect our natural resources – Mahama promises
Flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama has promised to work with the media when voted president to protect Ghana rsquo;s natural resources. In a statement to commemorate the 2024 World Press Freedom Day, the former President argued that the media has failed to effectively hold government accountable for critical environmental issues such as illegal mining (galamsey), deforestation, and worsening sanitation.
